Today’s recipe is my Korean Soy Garlic Crispy Tofu, and guys this korean tofu dish is so good! It’s sweet, spicy and umami all at the same time.
How GOOD does it look?? This recipe is perfect for my Vegans and Vegetarians, and for my meat-eaters: please give Tofu a go. When seasoned well it honestly tastes great!
My Korean Soy Garlic Crispy Tofu is relatively simple and you won’t need to dirty too many dishes either (which is ALWAYS a bonus) I fried my tofu because I wanted it to be super crispy, however if you’re more health conscious than me then you can definitely use an air-fryer or the oven. If you do deep-fry, please make sure you don’t overcrowd the pan as then your tofu won’t be as crisp.
Now for all my fellow muslims, you’ll know that eating East Asian food can often be difficult as both alcohol and pork feature in a lot of their dishes. Making it at home isn’t the easiest either because you’ve got the same issue with the condiments needed to make the delicious dishes, however I managed to find an alcohol free gochujang sauce!!
