A wonderfully filling and summery meal that can be prepared at (almost) lightening speed, get ready to make my Easy Bruschetta 10 Minutes with me! This recipe serves four and is an absolute must to make for yourself and for any cherry tomato lovers in your life!
Tips By Easy Bruschetta 10 Minutes
- To prevent your bruschetta from becoming soggy, consume and enjoy immediately after making!
- For those with a dairy intolerance, you can absolutely skip the burrata as the dish is traditionally made without it
- Make sure that your slice of sourdough is at least a quarter of an inch thick for the perfect ratio of crisp bread to topping
- Never skip rubbing your toasted bread with a garlic clove, it completely elevates the dish!
Alternative toppings
Should you be in the mood to experiment, you can pair your 10 Minute Bruschetta with a variety of other extra toppings. A few of my favourites are:
- A truly sharp and savoury sensation – parmesan shavings sprinkled with pine nuts and drizzled with balsamic vinegar.
- Ridiculously simple, exquisitely delicious – pesto vinaigrette drizzle. This topping calls for regular pesto to be thinned out by adding olive oil into it.
- For those who want a little extra spice in their lives – chilli oil and freshly cracked black pepper.
Ingredients For Easy Bruschetta Menu
- 1 punnet of cherry tomatoes
- handful of basil leaves
- salt to taste
- 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 buratta
- 2 garlic cloves
- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- optional: drizzle with chilli oil and black pepper at the end
Method By Easy Bruschetta 10 Minute
- Begin by chopping all of the cherry tomatoes into a bowl, to make your dish really pop with colour I recommend using different coloured ones
- Following this, roughly chop up the basil leaves and add them to the cherry tomatoes
- Season the mixture with salt and spoon in the extra virgin olive oil
- Proceed to stir well
- Take the four slices of sourdough bread and toast them in a pan with some extra virgin olive oil
- After toasting them to your satisfaction, rub each slice with a clove of garlic
- Quarter the buratta and spread each quarter on each slice of toast
- Top each piece with a quarter of the cherry tomato mixture
- Savour and enjoy!
