My Homemade Tzatziki Sauce is perfect for summer and amazing for livening up any dish you make. If you’re looking to impress your guests at your next BBQ or picnic in the park, follow my easy five-step recipe for the best Tzatziki you’ve ever had!
Tips For Homemade Tzatziki Sauce
- If you prefer a thicker tzatziki, grate your cucumber into a separate bowl and use your hands to squeeze out the excess water. Following this, you can then add your grated cucumber to the yogurt. I like mine a little thinner so I skipped this step but it’s completely up to you whether you include it or not!
- If you’re not a fan of endless amounts of chopping then using a pair of scissors is a quick and effective way to cut up your herbs. In my video you can see me using them for the mint leaves and it worked a treat!
- Use a garlic crusher for the garlic to create a more intensely flavoured tzatziki
