Today’s recipe is Fruit Salad also known as Fruit Chaat! It’s one of my favourite things to eat whilst fasting as it’s so refreshing and the perfect sweet treat!
Ingredients for Fruit Salad
Now you can use whatever fruits you have at home in your fridge, the choice is yours! That’s the beauty of this recipe, there are no rules and it will taste incredible even if you just use whatever you have on hand. Although I do wish my nectarines were ripe as they would have added a beautiful orange colour to the dish!
- 1 punnet of strawberries
- 1 punnet of blueberries
- handful of grapes
- 1 apples
- 1 pear
- 1 banana
- handful of pomegranate seeds
- juice of 2 oranges
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper

Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- 1 punnet of strawberries
- 1 punnet of blueberries
- handful of grapes
- 1 apples
- 1 pear
- 1 banana
- handful of pomegranate seeds
- juice of 2 oranges
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions
- Simply chop your fruits into bitesized pieces and place into a large bowl and add the juice of 2 fresh oranges.
- Season with black pepper, salt and brown sugar.
- Toss and serve!
- Optionally, decorate with some blueberries and strawberries cut into stars, see my video for reference on how to do this!
