Salt and Pepper Chips are delicious and my current fixation meal! Perfect for a quick snack or a flavourful side dish. This recipe is simple, packed with flavour, and can be tweaked to suit your tastebuds.

Ingredients:
For the Chips:
- 400g store-bought frozen fries
- 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 of each peppers (red, yellow, and green), thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 spring onions, finely sliced
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- Optional 1 tsp of ketchup
- Fresh coriander, chopped (for garnish)
For the Seasoning Mix:
- 1 tsp MSG
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ½ tbsp freshly ground black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Chips:
- Cook the frozen fries according to the package instructions (air fry or bake for best results). Set aside.
- Sauté the Vegetables:
- Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the sliced red onions and sauté until they become translucent.
- Toss in the sliced bell peppers and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.
- Combine and Season:
- Add the prepared chips to the pan with the vegetables.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over the chips and vegetables.
- Drizzle the soy sauce over the mixture and toss everything together until well coated.
- Add Fresh Elements:
- Stir in the spring onions and chopped coriander. Mix well to combine.
- Serve and Garnish:
- Transfer the Salt and Pepper Chips to a serving dish.
- Garnish with additional fresh coriander and serve immediately.
