Sometimes I just want a no fuss, quick and easy meal and my Chilli Garlic noodles definitely fulfil that criteria. This recipe is packed full of flavour and heat and best of all is the fact that it takes less than 10 minutes!
My Chilli Garlic noodles recipe is also perfect because it requires next to no chopping, just grab yourself a nifty Garlic Press, I’ve linked the one I use! I much prefer it to the conventional garlic crushers, as I find that those are often a bit of a pain to clean.
I used knife cut noodles that I purchased at H-Mart, but you can really use whatever noodles you like. Udon noodles would work great in my opinion. This recipe also definitely has quite the kick to it, so feel free to adjust the spice levels according to your palate.

10 minute Chilli Garlic Noodles
Ingredients
- 2 knife cut noodle nests
- 2 spring onions chopped separate the green stalks from he white portion of the spring onion
- 4 garlic cloves finely minced
- ½ tbsp black sesame seeds
- ½ tbsp white sesame seeds
- ½ red chilli flakes
- 4 tbsp sesame seed oil
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Cook your noodles according to the packet instructions.
- In a small saucepan, heat up your sesame seed oil for 2-3 minutes in a medium heat.
- In a bowl add the remainder of your ingredients apart from the soy sauce and pour the hot oil over them.
- Add you cooked noodles and soy sauce, stir well to combine and enjoy immediately!
