Best Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 240 g unsalted melted butter
  • 30 ml vegetable
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 400 g brown sugar
  • 130 g plain flour
  • 100 g cocoa powder
  • 250 g chopped chocolate
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 160°.
  • Grease a 10x10 inch dish and line with parchment paper.
  • Combine the eggs, melted butter, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl. Then whisk until light in colour.
  • Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and salt and gently fold them together until combined. Make sure you don't over-mix the batter!
  • Fold in three quarters of the chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the mixture into your lined dish and smooth with a flat spatula. Add your remaining chocolate chunks.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 25-35 minutes. Once baked, allow the brownies to cool, then remove from the dish.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely and then cut them into 16 evenly sized pieces and enjoy!
