Begin by removing your tofu from it packaging and patting it dry. Cut the tofu into small squares, depending on what your idea of a bite sized piece is!
In a Tupperware, place the chopped tofu and your cornflour, garlic powder, white pepper and onion powder. Put on the lid and shake well to coat the tofu.
Deep fry your tofu in batches on medium-high heat until golden and crispy! Set aside on a paper towel lined plate once fried.
In a pan, add the ingredients for the Soy Garlic sauce and heat for 2-3 minute son a med-low heat.
Toss the tofu in this sauce, garnish with spring onion and serve!
