pico de Gallo

Pico de Gallo

A delicious Latin-American dish that is perfect for the hot summer weather.

Ingredients

  • 1 small white onion
  • 4 medium red tomatoes
  • 1 jalapeño
  • coriander half a handful
  • 1 lime
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Finely dice your tomatoes, onions and jalapeño and place them in your bowl. Ensure that they are all similar in size!
  • Finely chop your coriander and then add this into your bowl next.
  • Add in the juice from one lime and season the Pico de Gallo with salt ( be generous!)
  • Stir and allow to sit for 30 minutes before tucking in!

Notes

If you'd like it milder only use half the jalapeño!
