Ingredients

  • 2 ripe nectarines
  • 1 teaspoon of butter

Streusel Crumble Topping

  • 6 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a small oven-safe ramekin or baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

Prepare the Nectarines

  • Begin by halving the nectarines and removing the pit
  • In a pan, add the butter and once warm add the ripe nectarines and cook until golden and lightly charred, this will take about 3 minutes on a medium heat

Make the Streusel Crumble Topping:

  • In another bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, and melted butter. Mix well until a streusel like crumb starts to form!

Assemble and Bake:

  • Place the prepared nectarine in the greased ramekin or baking dish, spreading them out evenly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble topping over the nectarines, covering them completely.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the nectarines are bubbling and the crumble topping is golden brown and crisp.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Remove the nectarine crumble from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
  • For an extra indulgent touch, top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream however I was lazy and so just went for a dollop of some extra thick double cream .
